FLOWARM float switch

The FLOWARM float switch with an integrated hydraulic valve can be used to fill tanks from the mains or local water supply. The float's design allows for quick and tight shutoff of the water supply. Installation
1. Preparing the installation: before connecting the float switch, thoroughly clean the system of any impurities, such as sand or other solid particles. They may clog the built-in filter and damage the seal.
2. Use of the filter in the installation: in the event of risk of impurities, an additional water filter must be used in the hydraulic system. The filter built into the device protects only its internal components.
3. Installation of the switch: the float switch must be installed inside the tank, along with a component for excess water removal.
4. Pump protection: When using a hydrophore pump, it is recommended to use a pressure switch or electronic controller that will automatically switch off the pump after the float switch has cut off the supply. The absence of such protection may result in damage to the pump due to “dry running”.
5. Maintenance and cleaning: To enable easy cleaning of the filter in the float switch, it is recommended to install a valve with a screw connection upstream of the switch. This will facilitate its dismantling and maintenance
