Example application: The non-return valve installed at the end of the suction pipe together with the suction basket and inserted into the well, after switching off the pump, prevents the water remaining in the pipe from flowing down, and thus protects the pump against dry running at the next start-up. Installed directly above the hydrophore pump, it protects against the impact of the backflowing liquid.
